Rights, Wants or Needs?

Today we explored a few articles of the UNCRC. We split into two groups and placed 20 cards into three categories-most important, important and least important. Some of these cards included nutritious food, heath care, clean water, fast food, a television set and clothes in the latest style. 

As we compared each group's placement of cards, we discussed the following questions:

-How did you decide which items were most important? 
-Was it difficult to select some items over others? 
-Which were the most important? Why?
-Which were the least important? Why?
