Road Tripping Through Alberta

"In Social Studies, we have been studying about what happened in the past. We are studying all the regions of Alberta. They are the Rocky Mountain Region, Parkland Region, Foothills Region, Grassland Region, Boreal Forest Region and the Canadian Shield Region. We are adding events that happen in Alberta on the board. We are writing about the event and drawing pictures about these important dates. One of the most fascinating events for me is the Franks Slide in 1903."-Gr 4 Student

March 12 th , 2020 Dear Parents & Guardians, Based on the changing provincial and local response to COVID-19, the CBE has given us direction to postpone our Learning Conversations (Student-Parent-Teacher conferences) scheduled for March 19 th , 2020 . In addition, ALL after school programs including Philkids, Reading & Running, YMCA, Teen Mentors and Mosiac club will be cancelled until further notice . All CBE schools have been given direction to postpone or cancel events that include populations from other schools and/or parents or other community members, such as Parent-Teacher Interviews, celebrations of learning, drama/musical performances, dances, athletic competitions, etc. This decision is effective from Mar. 12 until the end of March break. This decision will be revisited during March break to determine whether events should be rescheduled. Good Afternoon Keeler Families, With the on going circumstances around COVID-19, the Calgary Board of Education has decided to release student report cards online through the MyCBE PowerSchool account. Paper copies will no longer be provided to families. We are reaching out to ensure that our families have created a MyCBE PowerSchool account so they can access their student’s report cards.
